It's been a bit over a year since I've posted on this blog... GCSE revision, schoolwork and a massive project was on my mind, and I just completely forgot to update it.
A lot of stuff has happened since. Let me summarise two major points of last year!
1) I co-organised a massive cybersecurity competition - 'Project Ophelia' - that involved 1/5 of the school.
It took many months of planning, and the challenges were indeed hard! The final challenge in particular had only 2 people pass. From SQL injection to packet capturing, the 7 challenges were quite tricky, and tested many problem-solving skills. 50% of the people involved couldn't make it past Challenge 1!
This year, we're doing it better and bigger. My friend, Raka Gunarto, is working on the backend, and I'm working on the frontend. I'll make some posts about it soon.
2) I finished my GCSEs! Really happy with my results - 2 9s, 8 A*s. I'm glad my studying paid off.
In terms of the actual exams, I found that they were relatively challenging, but freeing. After doing my final exams for each subject, I felt such a sense of exhilaration that going through all those hours of revision and testing seemed worth it.
Well, Year 11 has come and gone... and I feel like a different person after going through it.
